Ligia Barrientos vs. Carlos Badias

Mr. Badias is the father of Ms. Ligia Barrientos's first child. According to witness testimony in a civil proceeding, Mr. Badias also suffered physical and emotional abuse by Ligia Barrientos. According to witnesses, when Mr. Badias broke off their relationship and packed his belongings to leave:

"Ligia jumped up and said, you're not going to leave me; nobody leaves me. I will see you dead or I will see you in jail, but nobody leaves me."
